The Shaulls

Coordinates: 391356N 1052035W.  Elevation: 9800ft.

Our property is 3 acres, located approximately 5 miles due east of Fairplay, Colorado on the western edge of the Pike National Forest. It is located in Elkhorn Ranches off of Elkhorn road.  

The property faces southeast. We have eastern and southern exposure and are sheltered by a ridge line on the north and west. This is an almost perfect orientation.

There is a gentle slope to the property. The trees are aspen and pine with just enough meadow.  We have added a driveway with a large parking area for our camper and stuff.  In the spring of 2000, we had power dropped to the property.  Next will probably be a well but that is a few years away.

This picture is looking to the southeast over the top of the camper.  The camper is the approximate location for our future house.
